Everything from an LS-Swapped Volvo Wagon to a Chevy-Powered International Dump Truck Cruises Into Kentucky Speedway for #HRPT19
The daily Southern California grind and commute through the asphalt maze of Los Angeles freeways that takes us to our office at Edelbrock headquarters rarely affords us the opportunity to see the lush green countryside in the more rural parts of the US. So, when the Hot Rod Power Tour comes up on our event schedule every year, it’s the one working assignment that gives us a brief one-week respite from the crazy police pursuits and traffic jams that seem to have become daily occurrences for us in LA.

We’ve made it through the rainy third stop in Bristol, TN, and are now just past the halfway point of the Tour heading to our fourth destination in Sparta, KY. The weather has begun to show more signs of the approaching summer season as we steer Big Red toward our spot in the manufacturer’s area at Kentucky Speedway for Day 4 of the 25th Anniversary Power Tour event. Although Hot Rod reports that Kentucky’s finest have been busy ticketing participants for whatever infractions they can find, the flow of muscle cars, hot rods, trucks and street machines remains steady and unaffected.

Take a look at our photos and video from Day 4 and the bizarre assortment of machines that turned up in Kentucky for Hot Rod Power Tour 2019 and be sure to check back as we head to the next stop in Indy.
