Kyle Busch

Edelbrock was proud to be a part of NASCAR history this last weekend when Kyle Busch achieved the first Triple Crown in NASCAR history at Bristol Motor Speedway!  Never before has a driver won all of the NASCAR national touring events at the same track in a single week.

It all started on Wednesday night when Kyle Busch won the Camping World Truck Series O’Reilly 200. After starting the evening at the rear of the field because of a pre-race adjustment, Kyle fought his way to the front through several caution flags to take the checkered flag. Kyle Busch Motorsports’ Toyota Tundra is powered by a Triad Racing Technologies engine mated with an Edelbrock #2879 intake manifold.

He continued his streak with his 10th Nationwide Series race victory of the year, winning Friday night’s Food City 250. This was Kyle’s 40th win in the series and tied him with Sam Ard for the most single-season victories.

Busch then proceeded to complete his history-making trifecta with a victory in Saturday’s Sprint Cup Series Irwin Tools Night Race. Kyle worked hard to fight off strong challenges by David Reutimann and Jamie McMurray in order to keep his lead. Joe Gibbs Racing relies on the Edelbrock Victor Series #2876 intake manifold to power Kyle Busch’s Toyota Camry.

Edelbrock would like to congratulate Kyle Busch in becoming the first driver ever to win all three NASCAR race events in a single week.

Edelbrock congratulates Joe Gibbs Racing and Penske Racing

Joe Gibbs teamates Denny Hamlin and Kyle Busch finish 1st and 2nd at Pocono.

Edelbrock would like to congratulate Joe Gibbs Racing and Penske Racing for their recent NASCAR victories this past weekend.

In the Gillette Fusion ProGlide 500 presented by Target, Edelbrock manifolds dominated the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series when Denny Hamlin won the race and teammate Kyle Busch finished second in their Joe Gibbs Racing Toyotas.

To date, Denny Hamlin has captured four victories, placing him in third place in the current NASCAR Sprint Cup Series points, while Kyle Busch has won two races, placing him second in the current standings. These victories are helping propel Joe Gibbs Racing up the standings, placing them in prime position for the Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup later this season.

In addition, Brad Keselowski finished first in the NASCAR Nationwide Series Federated Auto Parts 300 with an Edelbrock manifold #2819 under the hood of his Penske Racing Dodge. Brad is the current points leader in the NASCAR Nationwide Series, with three victories so far this year.

These teams join the long list of winning racers in all forms of motorsports who rely on Edelbrock intake manifolds to give them the winning edge. Edelbrock works closely with several NASCAR teams to develop intake manifolds that are versatile enough to be used on short and long tracks, giving them the advantage they need to dominate the competition.

Edelbrock has been involved with NASCAR for nearly 40 years and today continues to work with top racing teams in all levels of NASCAR to design and produce parts that they can count on to win races and championships. This long-standing tradition began with Vic Edelbrock Sr. and continues today with over 8,000 performance parts for the race track and the street.
