The Power Automedia team recently got a chance to get an up close look at Vic Edelbrock Jr.’s 1957 Chevy Bel Air and the Edelbrock E-Street EFI (electronic fuel injection) system under the hood. Vic Edelbrock Jr. was kind enough to take time out of his day to pop the hood of his ’57 Bel Air, talk cars, and even let one of our editors take it out for a spin.

Here at Edelbrock we’re getting our cars ready for this years Hot Rod Power Tour! If you see us on the road, or at one of the stops, don’t hesitate to say hi to Vic, Christi and the Edelbrock crew. If you catch Vic or Christi at our trailer, don’t forget to pick up an autographed hat or poster as well. Also, we’ll be having nightly giveaways on the main stage, so don’t forget to stop by our trailer and enter your name for a chance to win! Each night we’re giving away a Richard Petty Driving Experience gift certificate worth $500 and on the last night of the tour we will be giving away a new E-Street Total Power Package Top End kit with your choice of with Valve Covers and Air Cleaner – this is up to a $2,500 value!

1 2011 Hot Rod Power Tour

2011 Hendrick Camaro Driven by Christi

The 2011 Hendrick Camaro is one of Vic’s daily drivers. It features an Edelbrock E-Force Supercharger system #1598 that delivers 599 hp and 547 ft-lbs. of torque. This car also features Edelbrock Coil Springs #5237, Lower Trailing Arms #5200, Adjustable Rear Toe Links #52801 and a Russell Street Legal Brake Hose Kit #692380.

2 2011 Hot Rod Power Tour

2006 Corvette (E-Force Supercharged)

Our second car on the tour is another one of Vic’s daily drivers, his 2006 Z06 Corvette. This car also features an Edelbrock E-Force Supercharger system #1572. This system is specially designed for the LS7 platform and produces 657 hp and 582 ft-lbs. of torque – making this an incredible high-performance street car.

1957 Chevy Bel Air built by Posies

Finally, look for Vic’s custom 1957 Chevy Bel Air built by Posies. This car is powered by an Edelbrock crate engine with our Pro-Flo XT EFI System #35273. This combination produces 461 hp and 446 ft-lbs. of torque and runs on 87 octane fuel! This will be its 6th year as a Hot Rod Power Tour Long Hauler.
