Last weekend in Rockingham, NC, April 3-6, the Professional Drag Racers Association held there Inaugural event. The race saw six Edelbrock Fuel Injection cars all qualify in the top half. Jason Harris qualified #1 and was top on the podium when he out ran #3 qualifier, Tommy Franklin, in the final. Harris was the first to break the 200mph speed record in qualifying and went 3.77 to Franklin’s 3.79 in the final.
Lizzy Musi entered her first Pro Nitrous race and qualified #2. She then went on to make it to the semi’s where she too, broke the 200mph mark. John Hall, David Campbell and John Campball all ran consistent but went out in the first round. The weekend proved some excellent racing for all teams and closed with an all Musi Edelbrock final. Next race will be at South Georgia Motorsports Park May 9-10.
