2014 NHRA Circle K Winternationals

This last weekends event at Pomona for the 2014 Circle K Winternationals was one for the record books! John Force set two national records in both speed and E.T. He also won the weekend for his 139th career Funny Car victory. Coming into his 24th season, this is the last year of his long-standing sponsorship with Castrol GTX and Ford, and Force is off to a great start in pursuit of his 17th Funny Car title.

Top Fuel saw Khalid alBalooshi get the win when Doug Kalitta’s tires broke loose mid-track giving alBalooshi  his third career national event. Jason Line won Pro Stock over V. Gaines with a 6.526 to Gaines’ 6.533. This was Line’s 32nd career NHRA win.
