TORRANCE, CA (September 1, 2011) – Edelbrock is excited to announce the release of their E-Force Supercharger system for 2005-10 Challenger, Charger, Magnum and 300C equipped with a 6.1L HEMI engine (#1536). This new supercharger system will produce 556 horsepower and 501 ft-lbs. of torque with low boost on a stock engine. This design is engineered and manufactured by Edelbrock and features an Eaton® Twin Vortices Series (TVS®) 2300 GEN VI rotor assembly – the same internals used on the Corvette ZR-1.
The supercharger assembly is integrated into Edelbrock’s unique intake manifold for a truly seamless design with minimal components. The intake features 7″ long runners for maximum low-end torque and an integrated bypass valve that helps reduce parasitic loss under light throttle, which improves gas mileage potential. Keeping the air cool is a 110 square inch, high capacity, air to water intercooler and a full face, low temp, heat exchanger. It has been designed to meet 50-State emissions and work with all OEM emissions equipment (E.O. Number Pending).
This complete Edelbrock E-Force supercharger system includes everything you need to bolt it on under the hood, including supercharger/manifold assembly, cold air intake, fuel injectors, air-to-water intercooler and a handheld flash programmer to properly tune the factory ECU for the added power. Edelbrock offers 2 levels of optional powertrain warranty terms – including 3-Year/36,000 mile and 5-Year/100,000 mile, offering up to $19,000 of coverage, for peace of mind when installing on a brand new car.
Edelbrock also offers a competition version of this system (#1537). Edelbrock E-Force Competition Supercharger systems are based off of our popular street systems, but are pared down to the essential components that a racer needs, without the extras that experienced racers prefer to customize for their own competitive advantage. TORRANCE, CA (July 7, 2011) – Adding to their line of E-Street cylinder heads, Edelbrock has announced the addition of the Big-Block Chrysler for 361-440 cid B and RB applications. E-Street cylinder heads are an affordable line of aluminum performance cylinder heads designed for street performance engines operating in the idle to 5,500 rpm range.
Manufactured in the USA, these heads feature the quality details of higher priced cylinder heads at an affordable price. They are cast from A356 aluminum and heat treated to T-6 spec for superior casting strength and quality. Their combustion chamber designs improve the combustion process and larger than stock intake and exhaust ports move more air through an engine to improve efficiency and produce more horsepower and torque. Every E-Street cylinder head is assembled with manganese bronze valve guides, powder metal valve seats and stainless steel one-piece valves with hardened tips. As added value, E-Street cylinder heads include hardened valve spring cups to prevent premature casting wear and Heli-coil™ threaded inserts in the rocker stud bosses to ensure proper torque load without stripping the threads; these are the quality details that most low-cost competitors leave out of their heads.
Big block Chrysler E-Street cylinder heads feature 210cc intake ports and 84cc combustion chambers and are equipped with valve springs to handle up to .600″ of valve lift. The OE style valve train accepts factory shaft mount rockers. All E-Street cylinder heads are made in the USA.

From Toy to Reality – Students of Ohio Technical College Present Vic with a special gift
This past November something fantastic was brewing at the 2010 SEMA show in Las Vegas. Yes, the Edelbrock Supercharger kits for late model Camaro and Corvette LS2 and LS3 applications were fantastic reveals, but that’s not where we are going exactly.
At a special Press Conference, The Edelbrock Academy a newly formed program between Edelbrock and Ohio Technical College (OTC) was announced. The program will give students a solid foundation in the building and tuning of American muscle cars and performance vehicles. As part of the course, OTC students learn about engine modifications; how to install high-performance products such as exhaust, nitrous and supercharging systems; and how to conduct dyno tuning and testing, among other skills.
The press conference outlined the details of the program but there was one more special surprise to come. Secretly and unknown to Vic, the students and faculty at OTC had begun work on a custom build of a special ‘57 Chevy Bel Air to be given to Vic. Vic was surprised and moved to say the least.
Fast forward to today… On Sunday May 1, 2011 the finished vehicle will be unveiled at the 6th Annual Rev’ved Up 4 kids Charity Car Show. This will be Vic’s first time viewing the vehicle, which is loosely based on an existing Hot Wheels toy.
OTC team members Justin and Jordan Brenner are driving the vehicle from the OTC facility in Ohio to the show here in Torrance, California. Past and present OTC students and faculty who contributed to the build are also making the journey to the show to help present the vehicle to Vic.
“The1957 Chevy Bel Air was a remarkable learning tool for our students and a great way to introduce the Edelbrock Academy and showcase the type of practical and applied training students will receive,” said Justin Brenner, director of corporate development at OTC. “Students in our Classic Car Restoration as well as Racing and High Performance Programs have spent the past several months completely restoring the ’57 Chevy. Students dedicated their time transforming the car from a rusty shell of the past into a custom hot rod of the future. The Bel Air is infused with custom features and accessories including the new Edelbrock E-Force Supercharger making it a 600 horsepower ’57 Chevy.”
Many industry partners supported the project build by donating parts and services, including Edelbrock-LLC, Danchuk, Eckler’s, Fat Man Fabrications, Scoggin-Dickey and Summit Racing Equipment. A special thank you also goes out to those students from OTC who made this custom build happen: Quinton Miller from Berlin, Ohio; Alex Jacin from North Randall, Ohio; and Chad O’Leary from Janesville, Wis.
The Chevy Bel Air will be driven on this years Hot Rod Power Tour, and be displayed throughout the coming year as part of OTC’s “80 high school and 20 car show tour” to promote the Edelbrock Academy to prospective students.
